The SEC ISS program is a comprehensive IT program charged with operating, managing, and advancing the SEC's IT infrastructure. Our dynamic program team of IT leaders and large and small business partners is seeking bright, energetic and talented individuals to join us as we bring our innovative IT Service Delivery solutions to SEC. Currently; we are seeking an MS 365 Engineer.Since 1934 the SEC has been restoring and ensuring investor confidence in our capital markets by providing investors and the markets with more reliable information and clear rules of honest dealing. The EUT M365 Engineer, will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions using Microsoft 365 technologies such as Office 365, Windows 10, and Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS).

Core Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using M365 services such as Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.
  • Manage Office 365 applications including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
  • Manage and support Windows 10 endpoints, including configuration management, patching, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement and manage M365 security services such as Advanced Threat Protection, Cloud App Security, and Azure Information Protection.
  • Provide end-user support for M365 services including email, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive for Business.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions using scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, project managers, and SEC Government stakeholders to understand business requirements, propose solutions, and provide updates on project progress.

Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 8 Years of experience as M365 Engineer.
  • Strong technical skills in M365 services including Office 365, Windows 10, EMS, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Familiarity with M365 security services such as Advanced Threat Protection, Cloud App Security, and Azure Information Protection.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and keeping up to date with the latest M365 technologies and best practices.

Preferred qualifications:

Desired Microsoft 365 Certifications:
  • Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or similar certifications.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field
