We are looking to fill a

Senior .NET Developer role for a long-term project in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate is a DC Resident who has 10+ years of experience with .NET Core/.NET 6, experience with the development and implementation of large complex data applications, and is a Subject Matter Expert in infrastructure/network technologies.

LOCATION: Onsite in Washington, DC

DETAILS: 12-month project with the opportunity for extensions

PAY: up to $75/hour
  • Perform application design, architecture, development, testing, implementation, and administration.
  • Perform application administration by troubleshooting, problem-solving, monitoring, and maintenance for existing applications as needed.
  • Perform development and implementation of data interfaces for data access and applications.
  • Provide support by debugging issues, responding to security vulnerabilities, answering questions about system functionalities, and responding to enhancement requests.
  • Deploy and test cloud infrastructure.
  • Leverage systems knowledge to design scalable solutions across all applications and work with internal staff and external stakeholders to plan long-term platform goals.
  • Research new tools and solutions to meet an organization’s growing needs.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

  • Detailed-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with senior leadership and internal and external stakeholders, which can include school staff, government agencies, community-based organizations, advocacy groups, consultants, and vendors, regardless of technical expertise, to provide guidance on data systems and process improvements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, internal and external customers, and vendor staff at all levels of management.
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the agency’s success.

Minimum Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • 10+ yrs. conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty
  • Strong experience preparing complex technical documentation
  • Experience in developing complex enterprise applications
  • Experience with the development and implementation of large complex data applications
  • Experience with SDLC & Agile processes
  • Strong expertise with tools and technologies in Microsoft stack and data security – Highly Desired
  • Experience with .NET Core/.NET 6 - Desired
  • Experience with C#, jQuery, AJAX, MVC
  • Experience with Entity Framework Core
  • Experience with Angular 6.0 and above
  • Experience with Web API 2.0
  • Experience with Azure Storage and Data Lakes
  • Experience with Azure Databricks
  • Experience with SQL Server
  • Strong communication skills w/the ability to articulate technical terms and complex data clearly to non-technical audiences bother verbally & written.
