Direct End Client: Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) Job Title: Senior Network Engineer Duration: 12 Months No. of Hours Per Week: 40 Start Date: ASAP Location: Washington, D.C. 20024 Position Type: Contract Interview Type: Webcam/Phone/ In person Requirement ID: FEDHD021AS Short Description: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires contractor support to operate, maintain, and enhance its information technology (IT) infrastructure via an Information Technology Enterprise Infrastructure Management (ITEIM) task order. The scope of this SOW includes managing operations and conducting maintenance, as well as implementing upgrades and refreshes for the following information technology infrastructure service areas: Network Architecture and Engineering Services, Network Infrastructure Services, Voice Infrastructure Services, OCCTV Services, Server Management, Access Management / Active Directory, Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) Management, Enterprise Monitoring / Ops Center, Enterprise Monitoring Tool Operations, Asset Management, Data Center Management, Vulnerability Remediation Operations, Desktop and Application Virtualization Management, Multifactor Authentication Management, Remote Access Management. Required Skills:

• Seven (7) years of experience as a senior network engineer leading the design, development, and implementation of complex network solutions, leading large-scale projects involving stakeholders.
• Preferred experience: Experience working with WAN/LAN systems, networking technologies and protocols, and network and security principles. Relevant proto[1]cols include BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and SNMP. Relevant network and security principles include VLAN, VRF, NAC, network virtualization, DMZ, software-defined networking, and defense in depth on-prem and in the cloud. Experience evaluating, analyzing, and solving networking problems.
• Preferred certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Security Professional, or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
