Job Position: Senior PM/Acquisition Advisor-3628 Job Location: Washington D.C. / Bolling AFB Job Summary: The Senior Program Manager/Acquisition Advisor will provide programmatic, execution, and administrative support on program management of military space system acquisitions to Government Program Directors and Mangers on an ACAT-II equivalent program. Types of tasks may include Earned Value Management assessments, funding/program control tasks, assisting in program management reviews (PMRs), Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), risk management, reviewing contractor deliverables, and developing, reviewing, and coordinating acquisition documentation (SOWs, RFPs, tech evaluations). Additionally, the position requires the individual to perform budget analysis, develop POM inputs, and monitor financial execution of the program. This position will provide support to the organization's leadership in meetings with other organizations and industry and could require CONUS travel. The individual must be capable of developing briefings and reports accurately summarizing program performance or addressing key issues for senior USAF and OSD leadership, and other DoD offices.

Education / Certifications:Bachelor's degree required

  • Master's degree HIGHLY desired
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or DAWIA Program Management Level III certification highly desired

    Skills / Experience Required:
  • 15-20 years' specialty experience demonstrating mastery of defense program acquisitions
  • Experience with cleared physical security requirements
  • Knowledge of DoD operating principles and operations
  • Knowledge of innovative technical approaches for rapid client delivery
  • Ability to lead people, interface with senior leadership, and drive new business in the DoD market space
  • Ability to apply technical innovation and unique acquisition approaches to solve challenging problems
  • Experience in DoD source selection desired
  • Experience guiding Major System Acquisition programs through the acquisition life cycle including preparation for multiple Milestone Decisions (Milestone Decisions A, B, IOC and/or FOC) desired

    Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense (DoD) active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

    Physical Requirements: Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and may include lifting thirty (30) pounds, as necessary.
