Senior z/TPF Application Developers We are seeking experienced, knowledgeable, and

Senior z/TPF Application Developers to provide Development, Maintenance, Sustainment and enhancement support to our Organizations major systems running on IBM Transaction Processing facility which is a real-time operating system for mainframe computers.The demand for enhancement and improvements for this systems has steadily been increasing over the last 2 years. The forecast is continued growth over the next 2 years creating need for additional resources. The nature of the services to be ongoing development coordinated with the in-house development team to enhance the systems to meet growing business needs of the Organization.

Position Responsibilities.
  • Organize and document technical requirements, creates technical design specifications
  • Integrate solutions with other applications and platforms outside the framework.
  • Assist in the deployment of new modules, upgrades and fixes.
  • Define, develop, or modify application modules using disciplined development processes.
  • Document functions and changes to new or modified modules and test activities/results
  • Perform or assist in corresponding testing activities

Position Requirements
  • Over 8 years of related professional experience supporting large online processing systems
  • Must have experience with

    z/TPF Application Development with Assembler
  • Knowledge of Web Services, C, Java, JSON REST is helpful (not required)
  • Good communication and documentation skills
