OverviewSERVICENOW ARCHITECT (HUDSN):Bowhead seeks a ServiceNow Architect located in Washington D.C. to support the Department of Housing and Urban Developmnet (HUD), Enterprise Service Delivery (ESD) effort thatwill integrate and modernize various HUD program offices enterprise-wide services related to Human Resources, IT, Facilities Management, Financial Management, Acquisitions, and more. HUD’s primary objectives are to enable the delivery of capabilities as a service, reduce existing technology sprawl through consolidation of various systems, digitally transform service areas with inadequate or nonexistent supporting technology, and drive HUD-wide technology and business efficiencies, all while enhancing customer experiences.Responsibilities

Function as subject matter expert and system architecture authority for systems integration

Provide leadership, guidance, and assistance in the design and implementation of technology solutions business applications portfolio

Collaborate with other functions across IT & business to ensure collaboration, consistency, and quality of solutions

Transform business requirements into scalable / manageable and cost-effective solution architecture design

Lead the architecting, designing, and deploying of private and hybrid cloud solutions while focusing on the aspects of the overall delivery model

Provide guidance and advocacy with IT leadership and other business stakeholders to prioritize API integration requirements and design reusable integration solutions

Create reusability into systems for other IT resources to utilize in their development efforts

Develop written documentation for use in development

Manage unit and integration testing of all system functions

Provide day-to-day technical support, guidance, and direction to IT team

Remain current in software development, programming, and delivery technology

Qualifications

Four (4+) years of experience as a cloud data lake/warehouse architect, designer, developer, or data engineer

Four (4+) years of experience in leading ServiceNow projects relating to system integration, cloud modernization, data migration, data warehousing experience with cloud-based data platforms

Intermediate understanding of enterprise integration patterns and/or Design patterns

Intermediate Development skills in modern programming languages and understanding of architectural approaches of how to design data driven IT systems: DevOps

IAT Level II Certification is preferred.

Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Possess ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically
