Job Title: SQL Database Programmer

Clearance Required: U.S. Citizen, Public Trust

Work Location:

Remote during Covid - Onsite in DC following Covid

Responsibilities:

Serves as a subject matter expert for all Micro-cap ($50-$300M) related work orders and analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience demonstrating the below:
  • Develop database designs for SQL databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL, including tables, views, and stored procedures.
  • Develop user interfaces using selected tools such as MS Office Applications or other tools approved by the government.
  • Design and implement security on SQL databases.
  • Optimize and create indexes in SQL databases.
  • Develop SQL queries to maintain databases, update data, and extract data. Develop data validation routines.
  • Detect invalid data formats and data values outside valid ranges.
  • Develop workflow procedures for using databases.
  • Extract, transform and load (ETL) data from varied sources using tools approved by the government.
  • Convert databases from one format to another such as MySQL to Microsoft SQL.
  • Design and develop reports using selected tools including MS Office Applications such as Access and Excel, Crystal Report Writer, MS SharePoint, Tableau, and other tools approved by the government.
  • Analyze requirements and data structures, and extract relevant information for inclusion on the reports.
  • Develop visual presentations of information including charts, diagrams or dashboards to support management review and decision making

Required Skills, Education, Certifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in financial/fraud sectors
  • Minimum of 4 years database experience
  • Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science or related field (IT, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Information Systems Operations Management etc)
  • Ability to create MS Access SQL queries
  • Strong Access Database experience

  • Advance understanding of Micro-cap stock training and transactions
  • Proficiency in problem recognition and solving skills
