KMI is hiring a Sr. Contract Administrator to join our team in support of our Department of State program.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs pre-award and post-award contracting activities
  • Develops statements of work (SOW) and solicitations
  • Provides guidance on the appropriate acquisition approach
  • Oversees the evaluation of proposals
  • Documents the source selection process
  • Manages contract files
  • Prepares annual financial plans and supporting documentation
  • Reviews and tracks contract performance in accordance with the SOW and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Maintains software purchase records and agreements to ensure licensing compliance and current vendor support
  • Calculates penalties and/or incentives for performance-based contracts
  • Works in team environment to align DOS customer needs with contractual actions.
  • Writes, edits, and/or coordinates a broad array of HR materials, e.g. reports, new business processes/policies, major announcements, and other written materials
  • Develops information from various sources to produce highly specialized reports, analyses and recommendations to facilitate HR/EX decision-making on the broad portfolio of HR and management issues that falls under its purview.
  • Coordinates contractor on-boarding with program offices and vendors
  • Contract invoice reconciliation
  • Assists with asset inventory
  • Coordinates with customers to receive items ordered
  • Provides occasional escorts to security briefings and other meetings for vendors
  • Provides business analysis support
  • Tracks contract status and responds to executive level inquiries
  • Reviews and evaluates a variety of administrative, fiscal and organizational materials.
  • Performs office automation duties using various software applications
  • Develops, maintains, and disseminates a variety of accurate and up-to-date tracking spreadsheets
  • Works with program and contracting offices as appropriate
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required
