We are looking for Sr. Enterprise Architect with applications migration to Cloud exp (Min 16 years of Exp) (Webcam or In-person interviews ONLY) (Local Candidates ONLY) POSITION DESCRIPTION DIRECT CLIENT Position Number of positions: 1 Length: 12 Months + Location: Washington, DC 20003 Immediate interviews Webcam or In-person interviews ONLY Please note that this position is HYBRID, 1 to 3 days onsite and rest REMOTE per week. Most of the candidates are working remotely. Some managers are requesting candidates to meet once or twice a week or as needed. 16+ years of experience. Provides high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff. The Enterprise Architect (EA) will be mostly involved on the TOPS replacement project and other client initiatives as needed. For the TOPS replacement project, the EA will support the ongoing Business Process Reengineering requirements and drafting the statement of objectives for the new TOPS system along with the team. They will also work on supporting the identification of a robust cloud based permitting solution with the rest of the client leadership team. The EA will ensure that the proper accommodations for historical data preservation for the existing TOPS system are made and will support change management processes to facilitate the implementation of the enhanced TOPS system. The client has determined that migrating its legacy systems to an enterprise-class, cloud-based platform will enable it to meet these requirements and improve the permitting experience of its customer base. The program will also act as a catalyst to accelerate client's required transformation to achieve other goals. The delivery timeline for the TOPS replacement project is Jan 2024. The Enterprise Architect will be involved in all phases of the project.
Phase 1: Business Process Re-Engineering Task 1: Document the "as-is" TOPS business processes Task 2: Develop an implementation plan for recommended permitting business process and system changes (Current phase) Task 3: Develop the statement of objectives Phase 2: Issue RFQ for New Permitting Solution Phase 3: Onboard contractor for system migration, configuration, and integration Phase 4: Launch new TOPS system to the public Phase 5: System maintenance and operations Client will make the following stack available as necessary based on the requirements of the work of the EA. Modeling tools: UML, BPMN, etc. Project management tools: Jira, MS Project Cloud-based platforms: Azure Software development tools: Git, Jenkins, or Visual Studio Data management and analysis tools: SQL, data warehousing and BI tools Communication and collaboration tools: Microsoft Teams GIS tools: ArcGIS h.
