This position is only available for those residing in the state of Virginia and can commute to Washington DC on an as-needed basis (1-3 trips a year roughly)

Overview:We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to architect and develop solutions using the Microsoft stack and Azure services.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 10-12 years of hands-on Microsoft Full Stack development.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on Azure services.
  • Proficient in leading Microsoft/Azure design.
  • Experience developing complex business applications using C#.
  • Strong background in software development.
  • Proven track record of innovation.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills with customers.

Responsibilities:
  • As a Senior Full Stack .NET Lead/Architect, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing solutions with the Microsoft stack and Azure services, as well as collaborate directly with a multi-disciplinary team (e.g., developers, team leads, project manager) & customer stakeholders.
  • Must have experience developing web applications using Microsoft products and Azure services like C#, ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net, ASP.Net Web Forms, ASP.Net Core, ASP.NET Core MVC, Entity Framework Core, Dapper, WEP API, LINQ, ADO.NET, MS SQL, MySQL, Crystal Reports, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, Azure Container Services, Azure Key Vault, Azure AD, Azure Monitor, Azure SQL DB and Azure Apps Service.
  • Experience in any one or more of the modern JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks (AngularJS, React JS)
  • Experience in design patterns like MVVM, MVC/MVP, Singleton, Observable, Decorator, Factory, Command, and Composite.
  • You will utilize Agile Scrum for the SW Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with tools such as Atlassian Jira, Azure Boards.
  • You will apply the 15 Factor App and Domain Drive Design (DDD) methodologies to develop Cloud native applications including REST APIs.
  • You will apply Microservices/Serverless Compute Technologies to implement the following services: API Gateway, Load Balancer, Registration, Message, Config, Distributed Tracing, Secrets, and Consolidated Logging.
  • You will implement CI/CD Pipelines (e.g., YAML) and perform Automated Testing (e.g., Selenium), Static Code Analysis, and Performance testing.
  • Lead development team on .NET platforms and collaborate with Agile team members to mitigate any technical impediments.
  • Provides senior level IT technical lead services and direction. Mentor/instruct junior staff.
