PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Senior Manager Talent Acquisition will manage and develop a team of professionals who will lead the design of Exelon's Talent Acquisition strategy. The Senior Manager will engage and partner with the COE leads, HR Operations and HR Delivery Recruiting team to set and align the Talent strategy and to identify key business imperatives along with current and future skills requirements. The Senior Manager will serve as Governance & oversight of all management model TA policies and procedures. Collaborate to develop and govern core TA metrics and reporting.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Leads design of Talent Acquisition processes ? Make process-related decisions in collaboration with TA Operations etc. ? Make decisions about vendors, negotiate vendor agreements, etc. in collaboration with TA Operations etc. ? Govern and oversee TA policies and procedures ? Measure success and make recommendations for continuous improvements ? Design training and partner with TA Operations leadership to deliver (35%)
  • Talent Acquisition Recruitment Marketing ? Partner with D&I and TA Delivery to design enterprise diversity recruitment & sourcing strategy ? Manage Recruitment Marketing investment strategy, ID vendors for potential partnership ? Development and oversight of the Exelon employment brand strategy ? Responsible for the development of candidate engagement and experience strategies ? Careers marketing site strategy and management in partnership with Corporate Comms ? Candidate survey strategy and analysis ? Branded content and messaging strategy development and oversight (25%)
  • Technology Projects & Vendor Management ? Serves as the functional lead for ePeople Recruiting & Onboarding ? and lead the partnership with the TA Delivery teams, HRT and IT ? Manage TA technology investment strategy, ID vendors for potential partnership ? Shares current vendor relationships with the TA Delivery leadership ? Oversight of the TA innovation roadmap and technology implementations (25%)
  • Research & Insights ? Conduct research & benchmarking on talent metrics and skills, critical roles, etc ? Partner with Organization Effectiveness and Talent Management to integrate candidate and employee engagement and experience efforts ? Other research as needed (15%)

JOB SCOPE

  • Operates independently with little or no supervision.
  • Requires depth and breadth of experience in recruiting discipline.
  • Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities to address complex assignments and non-standard situations.
  • Manages a team recruiters and administrative coordinators.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR or related field. Ten or more years relevant work experience recruiting in an operations environment. Five years management experience with demonstrated success in performance management and employee development.
  • Customer service orientation, discipline and focus.
  • Data management experience including report generation, measurement, and analysis. Strong interpersonal skills as well as proven external representation skills for outreach activities. Executive presence. Strong ability to operate independently. Demonstrated team player. Strong knowledge of the external sourcing process including internet recruiting and candidate sourcing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree.
  • Prior experience with applicant tracking systems.
  • Energy industry experience.
  • Workforce planning experience. Digital marketing experience
