Sr. PL/SQL Developer

ALTA IT Services is seeking a Sr. Oracle Developer to join our client on a long term contract basis. Candidates should have extensive PLSQL experience. Cloud experience is a plus, not required. PLSQL Developer Remote Contract Requirements: This position is for a Database Developer with strong SQL Plus skills and an extensive background on Oracle. Broad knowledge of relational DB concepts, structures and their implementations in large enterprise environments. Application performance tuning skills A strong background in the development and maintenance of DB packages, stored procedures, etc. Software development best practices, with a focus on supporting the SDLC life cycle. Strong working knowledge in RDBMS Oracle (PL/SQL Procedure/Package, SQL Tuning, SQL queries, error handling) Solid knowledge on Oracle catalog tables and RDBMS basic components Hands-on working knowledge in the preparation of database deployment scripts and instructions Excellent analytical, planning and communication skill sets Software architecture design background is preferred Analytical skills and the ability to track and resolve data issues that are impacting the applications using the data structures.
