We are looking for Sr Project Manager / Program Manager (Min 16 years of exp) (Webcam interviews) (HYBRID) POSITION DESCRIPTION DIRECT CLIENT Position Number of positions: 1 Length: 8-20 Months + Location: Washington DC 20024 Immediate interviews Webcam interviews ONLY Please note that this position is HYBRID. Detailed onsite requirement will be discussed during the interview. Most of our resources are working 1 day per week onsite and some are working onsite once every 2 weeks. Project Manager 3 Duties and Responsibilities The Project Manager will assist Client in all of its endeavors to achieve the client's budgetary objectives. In addition to creating the "Project Management Best Practices", this individual would be in charge of managing our client's Partners and ensuring that the vendors' promises are fulfilled. organizes, leads, and oversees contract operation support activities that include numerous, intricate, and interconnected project tasks. Duties:

  • Provide oversight and leadership to help manage our Lottery vendor
  • Provide direction and guidance to team resources
  • Provide leadership and guidance to requirement analysis, process review, fit gap analysis, compatibility recommendations.
  • Manage expectations at all levels of the project
  • Work collaboratively with all partners to develop and maintain a project schedule to review during weekly status meetings
  • Facilitate weekly status meetings and other ad-hoc meetings as well as meeting minutes and agendas
  • Provide weekly status reports and guidance plans
  • Collaborate with partners to prepare project management plans and other related plans as needed to be effective based upon the project size and scope
  • Attend management meetings as needed and provide insight to project schedule and projections
  • Provide planning and scheduling direction for project and release management
  • Review and leverage best practices to standardize business processes whenever possible.
  • Oversee solution designs and data mapping for interfaces, extensions, conversions, and reports
  • Provide leadership and expertise to review and recommend customer fit and improvements based upon "best practices"
  • Responsibilities:
  • Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter- related project tasks.
  • Manages teams of contract Support Personnel at multiple locations.
  • Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
  • Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
  • Qualifications
  • 16+ years of experience in progressive consulting in a leadership role, providing full lifecycle services in an Enterprise environment (Required)
  • 16+ years managing, coordinating, and establishing priorities for entire project lifecycle (required)
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field, or Solicitation
  • The equivalent combination of education and successful work experience
  • Candidates must have ALL the "Required" skills in order to be considered for the position.
