The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the knowledge transition process, ensuring seamless integration and effective utilization of these solutions within our security infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operational teams to implement and transition unified security and endpoint security solutions such as Qualys.
Oversee complex infrastructure by installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining application software and system management tools.
Facilitate the knowledge transition process, training team members on the functionality and best practices of unified security and endpoint management solutions.
Assist in the configuration, deployment, and integration of the unified security and endpoint management solutions into existing security frameworks and workflows.
Monitor and maintain systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with security policies.
Develop and document integration procedures, workflows, and best practices for ongoing operations.
Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Qualys products.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure alignment of security protocols and policies.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats to continually enhance our security posture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
7+ years of proven experience in implementing and managing solutions such as endpoint protection, Patch and Asset Management, Web based threat protection, end point management, and vulnerability management solutions
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability assessment methodologies, and threat protection strategies.
Familiarity with integration of security tools and platforms in a complex IT environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CASP+, CISM, CEH, CISSP) are a plus.
Desired Skills:
Deep expertise in one or more of the following areas: multi-tenant enterprise environments, SIEM enterprise solutions, REST API configurations and queries.
Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) principles.
Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practices.
Experience with engineering and configuring endpoint protection solutions, patch management solutions, MDM solutions, and vulnerability scanning solutions in a multi-tenant environment.
Familiarity with managing PAAS and SAAS endpoint enterprise solutions in a multi-tenant environment.
The likely salary range for this position is $83,096 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
