Experience/Education: BS degree and 8-10 years' experience or MS degree and 6-8 years' experience or high school diploma and minimum twelve years' experience.

Knowledge Management, Inc. (KMI) is seeking an experienced and accomplished technical Project Coordinator to be part of a team supporting the operations and maintenance of a large scale and world-wide Enterprise IT environment covering application hosting and support; enterprise services; and infrastructure services in the Washington D.C. metro area. This candidate will coordinate a large portfolio of projects in conjunction with Government customers.

The Project Coordinator will serve the needs of a diverse team of operational engineers to implement superior levels of project management, tracking, and control.

Work Responsibilities may include: • Coordinate IT project plans, scope, schedules, resources, and tasks for the Department of State in coordination with customer managers • Work closely with project managers and technical resources to help track, organize, and coordinate project risks; help identify issues and develop solutions • Support Agile processes and assist project managers and technical resources with Scrum/Kanban practices • Ensure projects adhere to processes and frameworks, and all documentation is maintained appropriately • Plan, schedule, and prepare materials for internal project meetings and customer meetings, document important actions and decisions • Assist with developing and organizing executive-level dashboards and reports • Liaise with program stakeholders such as development teams, security officers, and PMO • Support the change management process and assist with ushering and coordinating critical changes through internal processes. • Develop best practices and tools for project support • Manage process improvement activities in non-technical program areas

Basic Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Project Coordinator, on Federal contracts a plus • Experience in project coordination or management for software development, database management, infrastructure, or network environment projects a plus • Experience with project methodologies and associated tools (SDLC, Agile, Kanban, and Jira or IBM ELM suite) • Solid experience with MS Office Suites • Experience with knowledge sharing tools such as SharePoint and Confluence • Experience with Agile practices • Experience providing support in a highly demanding environment • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
