Help us define the future of care delivery.CloseKnit is currently hiring a Technical Support Specialist to join their team.PURPOSE:Provides First-Level User Support by identifying user problems; researching answers; guiding user through corrective steps; recommending documentation updates.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Provides technical support for users. Resolves software and hardware desktop issues. Provides end user training instruction. Performances measures for this position focus on effectiveness, responsiveness, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Updates all tickets assigned on a daily basis. Opens, tracks, and closes trouble tickets. Ensures problem ownership and promotes end-user satisfaction. Tracks activities of technical support specialists to whom tickets were assigned.
- Assists team with managing daily operations.
- Supports equipment moves/adds/changes. Stages/configures/installs desktop equipment. Maintains desktop uptime, stability, and performance.
- Provides tracking for all deployed IT assets from procurement to disposal to allow realtime accounting of IT assets to contractor personnel.
- Produces/maintains IT documentation (SOPs, inventory, knowledge articles). Develops best practices for processes and procedures (ITIL process environment).
- Experience resolving issues with computer hardware or software.
- Technical certification
- ITIL certification
- Strong technical and computer skills
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Skill in completing assignments accurately with attention to detail
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
