JD: 8 years of Experience with development on two or more operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android) Fluent in at least two programming languages (e.g., Java, C, Ruby, MATLAB, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, PHP) Familiarity with source configuration management/version management Demonstrated ability to write clear, correct, complete, understandablereports and documentation Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving skills Additional skills may be desirable or required, depending on the project. These skills include: Experience with high performance distributed computing (e.g. Hadoop) Experience with open-source products from the Apache Software Foundation (ASF) such as Solr/Lucene Experience in natural language processing (NLP) for machine learning R&D projects in the medical domain Experience in artificial neural network platforms, such as Caffe, Keras/Tensorflow, PyTorch. Experience in development with Python libraries related to machine learning, such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, SciPy, Sci-Kit Learn, Statsmodels, IPython/Jupyter. Experience accessing records in relational and NoSQL databases and transforming them programmatically using database interfaces provided by Python, Java, or other languages Experience with interprocess communications, shared memory, and multithreaded program development Experience in developing and maintaining graphical user interfaces (GUIs) Experience with SSL and encrypted client/server programming Experience with cloud computing
