Our work depends on Web Designer joining our team to craft, deploy, and maintain web-based products and repositories and to advance IO initiatives through the creation of communication products, videos, social media campaigns, and supporting website development. You will also provide recommendations on best practices including web-based content, usability, and design.HOW A COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT● Participates in the development, revision, and delivery of internal and external web-based communications materials in coordination with IO leadership● Consolidate information across various digital storage methods (i.e. email, Sharepoint, etc.) through web-based platforms which provide access control as determined by the associated program(s)● Recommend best practices to improve efficiencies throughout the creation, deployment, maintenance, and updating of web-based products and document/information repositories● Utilize multiple forms of media including but not limited to video, photography, and webpage content to improve IO’s image to government and public audiences● Create and develop professional communications and reporting products for multiple audiences (i.e. Leadership, Congressional, Media)WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science● Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI Eligible● Required Skills and Abilities: experience in coordinating, developing, enhancing, maintaining, and/or supporting the creation of web based branding, communications campaigns, content management and data structure best practices, and/or web based document repositories● Preferred Skills: experience working with programs and languages such as SharePoint, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and developing SharePoint solutions using Out of the Box features, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Google API as well as familiarity with relevant software such as Tableau, Microsoft SharePoint 2013 (or future agency versions), MS Suite, Adobe Suite, and/or similar design and document creation programs● Location: Hybrid● US Citizenship RequiredGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:● 401K with company match● Comprehensive health and wellness packages● Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career● Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications● Cutting-edge technology you can learn from● Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysThe likely salary range for this position is $57,866 - $78,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
