Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with a national scientific association to find a

Web Developer. This is a direct hire role with a hybrid work schedule (5/10 days onsite - 2 days one week, 3 days the next week). The Web Developer is responsible for designing, architecting, planning, and overseeing interactive technologies and applications delivered via the Adobe Experience Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate the AEM platform and data with 3rd party tools for workflow process and subscription fulfillment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements
  • Build integrated tools to expand the product to meet the customer's requirements
  • Participate in system/integration testing when applicable
  • Perform code reviews and other QA steps as requested
  • Implement unit and integration testing; execute functional and performance testing where appropriate
  • Identify/propose solutions to development and design problems
  • Participate in scope of work estimations and forecasting
  • Prepare technical documentation, including software design evaluation plans, test results, and manuals
  • Research new and existing technologies

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (BS In a different field with a technical certification is acceptable with 8 years of related experience)
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience
  • 7+ years of HTML and JavaScript experience
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in web development
  • 2+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager 6.x and Apache 2.4.x experience
  • Experience managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing AEM
  • Hands-on Agile Scrum methodology experience
  • Experience with development and deployment of solutions that are cloud agnostic
  • Experience with Web API and eCommerce standards and regulations
  • Experience building custom modules and extending the functionality of AEM
  • Demonstrated experience leading development teams
