Woodworking Production Assistant

Here at Legacy Hardwood, we specialize in creating custom furniture for homes, offices, & restaurants! Tables, benches, chairs, barndoors, & are continuing to expand into other types of custom furniture as well.

We're looking for a production assistant to help us catch up on lead times and hopefully become a regular part time/full time helper. You will work alongside our owner & sales manager to lead our business toward a bright future!

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

- Assist with wood table production & furniture production

- Make table tops, wood fill, sand, stain

- Assemble wood chairs, stain/ sand as needed

- Assist with shop projects and orders

- Receive and organize lumber & other materials

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong Woodworking Experience is preferred but not necessary - a willingness to learn is a must

- Proven Communication Skills

- Proven Organization Skills

- Proven Work Ethic & Ability To Work Fast!

- Extreme Attention To Detail

- Must Have A Positive "Get It Done" Attitude!

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure production schedule & goals are met.

- Work alongside shop employees completing all custom furniture orders.

- Day 2 process dedicated to the sanding and processing of our table tops & table bases

- Manage production list & update on a daily basis.

- Maintain a clean shop environment

Work hours are flexible so long that production quotas are met.

Starting pay rate will begin at $17/hour with room for bonuses & growth after you have proven to be reliable, organized, & effective at your job. Upwards of $20-25/hr which equates to $32k-$52K/yr + production spot bonuses
