The Account Representative will act as liaison between customers and our company. This position will be responsible for servicing customers on a scheduled basis. Account Representative requires an excellent work ethic, good time management skills, and efficiency. They must be a critical thinker and have very good problem solving skills. The Account Representative will uphold the policies and procedures of the company at all times. The Account Representative will also portray a positive image of the company and will have the utmost of professionalism in all actions.

Essential Functions and Duties Will Include:

- Take proper inventory at store level while monitoring dates on all products.

- Putting together an order to maintain a full display and ensure there are no out-of-stock situations, and decreasing any unnecessary inventory.

- Reviewing the order with the manager or person in charge

- Notifying deli manager / store manager / person in charge of upcoming promotions and utilizing them to increase sales and brand awareness.

- Correcting any mis-rotation problems and bringing it to the manager’s attention.

- Evaluate competitive products. (Case real estate and activity)

- Checking the working pieces to ensure proper slicing and product quality.

- Merchandising all back stock for the retail case.

- Re-setting all retail cases while taking inventory.

- Re-setting and rotating all condiment, and secondary retail displays

- Cleaning condiment racks, nutrition book holders and all Signage weekly

- Checking that each item has a price tag.

- Refilling recipe and nutrition books as needed and maintaining an inventory in the store.

-Ensuring that standard POS materials are in place and clean. Checking that correct sale signs are up and in the proper place.

- Responsible for all POS for current promotions and inventory maintenance.

- Responsible for introduction of all new products, PLU codes, and case

space.

- Communicating with operations manager to properly control inventory.

- Communicating with the store manager (chain) weekly to identify any opportunities or requests

- Handle all customer requests in a professional manner.

- Meet with store manager at least once each week.

- Creatively merchandise displays for various promotions, holidays or seasons.

Additional Responsibilities May Include:

- Acting as a merchandiser or order picker when necessary.

- Participating in case sets and promotional set-ups.

- Attending classes, lectures, and seminars for further training as deemed necessary.

- Additional duties needed by the Operations Manager or President.

Knowledge and Abilities:

- Flexibility- you must be able to adapt to changing situations, new tasks and prioritize as changes occur

- Must be able to analyze situations and adopt a quick, effective, and reasonable course of action.

- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with other employees and customers

- Knowledge of product line

- Attention to detail- you are meticulous when it comes to checking dates on products and merchandising

- Must be comfortable with computers and technology

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

- Lift or carry objects weighing up to 100 lbs; push or pull objects up to 1000 lbs.

- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
