Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, analysis, and compliance with accounting standards. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential areas for improvement.

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insightful recommendations based on data analysis.

Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices in accounting procedures.

Maintain and update financial databases and reporting systems.

Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Provide support for special projects as needed, including financial modeling and analysis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
