Accounting Assistant

Description We are looking to recruit an organized and meticulous Accounting Assistant to join our team in Marco Island, Florida. This role primarily involves handling billing, credit card receipts, deposits, and checks in an efficient and timely manner. It's a long-term contract role in which you'll be using your accounting skills to contribute to our team's success.Responsibilities: Handle billing procedures, ensuring all invoices are issued to customers accurately. Process credit card receipts, validating transactions, and reconciling them with bank statements. Manage daily deposits and ensure all transactions are recorded properly in the accounting system. Process checks, recording them accurately, and ensuring they are deposited promptly. Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records. Use QuickBooks and Excel to manage accounting functions and create financial reports. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to resolve inquiries. Contribute to the team's efforts in expanding the business. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations. Assist in any other accounting duties as required by the team.
