Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry. Based in Melbourne, Florida, the role involves managing a range of accounting duties and requires a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable Perform account reconciliation to maintain accurate records Process invoices efficiently and accurately Handle data entry tasks and maintain updated records Use Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reports Prepare and record journal entries as part of the accounting process Regularly review customer credit accounts and take action on delinquent payments Address and resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner Maintain up-to-date customer credit records Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must Strong Data Entry skills are necessary Familiarity with Invoice Processing is essential Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Experience with Journal Entries is a must A background in Real Estate Property/Facilities Management is highly desirable Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Knowledge of accounting principles and practices Experience with accounting software and databases.
