Description We are seeking a diligent and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team based in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you'll be tasked with overseeing a team, managing intercompany transactions, handling fixed assets, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with the month-end close process. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as necessary Manage intercompany transactions and ensure accuracy and consistency in accounting practices Handle fixed assets and prepaids, ensuring accurate recording and tracking Conduct balance sheet reconciliations regularly, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved efficiently Assist with month-end close duties, including preparing and reviewing journal entries Utilize MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for daily operations, with a future transition to Oracle Ensure all accounting processes adhere to company policies and regulatory guidelines Oversee the conversion process from D365 to Oracle, ensuring a smooth transition for the team Regularly review balance sheets and conduct account reconciliations as part of the financial review process Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. Requirements Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or related field is required. Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role within a business environment. Proficiency in accounting software, specifically MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Oracle. Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting, month-end close, and fixed asset accounting. Demonstrable experience with balance sheet account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and account reconciliation. Comprehensive understanding of balance sheet reviews. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred. Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports. Ability to accurately process numerical data and interpret financial records and fiscal policies. Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
