This is a full-time position that works closely with members to pay invoices by purchase orders in the Ariba On Demand (AOD) system. This position requires the ability to work closely with other members in OFM and throughout the agency. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific duties include:
Processing vendor payments;
Auditing invoices against purchase orders to process payments in AOD;
Reconciling and approving invoices in AOD;
Processing payments in AOD and in the Florida Accounting Information System (FLAIR);
Keying journal transfers to state agencies and internal agency adjustments using FLAIR;
Ensuring payments are in compliance with Florida Statutes 215.422, FDLE policies, the Reference Guide for State Expenditures published by the Department of Financial Services and other rules/guidelines as applicable;
Maintaining a pending file and working with vendors, members, and other program areas to resolve the issue;
Following established procedures to escalate issues as needed; and
Assisting vendors and members with invoice payment issues.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures;
Knowledge of the methods of data collection;
Knowledge of FLAIR;
Ability to utilize problem solving techniques;
Ability to analyze and interpret accounting data;
Ability to work independently;
Ability to determine work priorities, insure proper completion of work assignments;
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing;
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with others; and
Ability to use computer software, including but not limited to, Microsoft Excel and Word.
BASE SALARY:
46,350.00
