Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are providing an opportunity in the service industry for an Accounts Payable Clerk in St. Petersburg, Florida. This role is critical in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, receipts, payments, and more. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity that offers the chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications to ensure a smooth financial transaction Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions to ensure a clear financial history Resolve customer inquiries promptly to provide excellent customer service Monitor customer accounts regularly to identify and address any discrepancies Handle accounts payable duties, ensuring all invoices are paid in a timely manner Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP) to accurately handle all financial transactions Implement knowledge of HVAC to understand and manage relevant expenses Collaborate with other team members to ensure all financial operations are running smoothly Identify and address any discrepancies in customer accounts Ensure all financial records are kept up to date and accurate. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations and related software applications Familiarity with HVAC systems and their financial management Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel A high level of integrity and dependability Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
