Accounts Payable Processor

Description We are on the lookout for a diligent Accounts Payable Processor to be a part of our team in the construction industry, located in Bonita Springs, Florida. The selected individual will be instrumental in handling customer inquiries, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records. This role will also involve monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary. This opportunity offers a long term contract employment.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently manage customer credit applications Maintain precise records of customer credit Respond to and resolve customer queries in a timely manner Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on their status Download invoices from utility company websites and save them in designated folders Log these invoices in an Excel file for record-keeping purposes Use PDF tools to edit, add text, split or combine files as required Send an email with the downloaded invoices attached to the specified email address Check the status of lots in the Excel file – whether they are open or closed Perform other accounting functions as necessary, ensuring all tasks are completed within the given timeframe. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must for handling data and creating reports Demonstrable experience in Accounts Payable (AP) processing Familiarity with the invoice generation and processing Ability to work with different websites for online transactions and data sourcing Willingness to work onsite to collaborate with the team and understand the business operations Experience as a Processor in managing, organizing, and updating relevant data using database applications Knowledge in handling PDF files for invoice and other document processing Understanding of utilities industry and its accounting needs is desirable Familiarity with NAND gate or similar logic gates is a plus, but not mandatory Must be capable of performing various accounting functions including reconciliations, expense tracking, and report generation.
