Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist in the construction and contractor industry based in Riviera Beach, Florida. This role involves handling a high volume of accounts payable data entry and processing, as well as ad-hoc tasks and reporting. The employment type for this role is a short term contract. Responsibilities: Handle high volume accounts payable data entry duties efficiently Process accounting transactions in line with company procedures Attend to any discrepancies in the accounts payable process Use accounting software systems to maintain accurate records Manage check processing in a timely and accurate manner Provide ad-hoc reporting as required by the management Assist in other accounting functions as needed Maintain confidentiality of all financial data Collaborate with other team members to achieve business objectives.Requirements Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Skilled in Microsoft Excel Understanding of Accounting Functions Knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP) Familiarity with Check Processing Proficient in Data Entry Ability to identify and resolve Discrepancies Demonstrated experience in the Construction/Contractor industry Proven ability to work as an Accounts Payable Specialist Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
