Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team based in Miami, Florida. The role focuses on managing customer accounts and financial transactions in a dynamic environment. This position provides a contract to hire employment opportunity and will involve handling and processing payments, managing aging accounts, and offering customer service support. Responsibilities: Manage and collect payments from customers Handle the reconciliation of vendor accounts Oversee and manage the aging process of accounts Post payments accurately and promptly Provide excellent customer service to resolve inquiries and issues Re-issue statements for pending dues when necessary Utilize bilingual skills in Spanish and English to communicate effectively with diverse customers Apply skills in Accounts Receivable, Aged Receivables, and Consumer Collections to optimize financial operations. Requirements Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the role of Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar finance roles Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory Proven experience with Aged Receivables is required Previous experience in Collections, specifically Consumer Collections, is necessary Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.
