Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client's team in West Palm Beach, Florida. The primary function of this role involves handling accounting operations for a large volume of residential communities, working with a diverse customer base, and delivering high-quality customer service.Responsibilities: Manage and deposit homeowner payments to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations. Conduct research and solve any issues related to Accounts Receivable (AR). Generate and provide end-of-month reports for financial tracking and auditing. Maintain regular interaction with customers and Board of Directors through phone communication. Oversee all aspects of billing homeowners, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare and send late payment letters to homeowners as required. Collaborate with legal teams on handling delinquent accounts. Prepare estoppels in a timely manner to prevent any legal disputes. Work on special projects as needed to support the overall function of the department. Utilize various software tools such as Jenark, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel to perform job duties efficiently.Requirements Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role or related field. Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR). Demonstrable knowledge and skills in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections. Practical experience in Commercial Collections. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks. Familiarity with Jenark software. Experience or knowledge in Homeowner Association (HOA) management. Understanding of homeowners and estoppel terms and processes. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility. Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
