Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are in the motor retail industry, located in Sarasota, Florida, United States, and provide a workplace that offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role will involve a variety of tasks including processing customer payments, managing customer interactions, and utilizing various software systems.Responsibilities: Ensuring the efficient processing of customer payments via phone or email Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions Utilizing CRM and ERP systems to maintain accurate customer records Handling customer inquiries effectively and professionally Applying cash transactions in the SYSPRO system Managing multiple inboxes and responding to customer correspondence promptly Performing various tasks to support the Accounts Receivable team Using SalesForce and Excel for data management and reporting Running credit cards for various transactions Ensuring all accounting functions and billing procedures are adhered to. Requirements Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems Proficient in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions Demonstrated experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Billing Functions Experience in managing Cash Activity Proficiency in Check Processing Prior experience with SYSPRO software Knowledge and understanding of the Motor Retail industry Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Proven problem-solving abilities High level of integrity and trustworthiness Ability to adhere to strict deadlines Relevant certification or degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
