This is not a remote position. DESCRIPTION We are looking for a self-motivated assistant to support the Office of Information Technology Services (OITS). This position is responsible for a variety of functions in the office as an administrative assistant. This position assists and reports to the Deputy Chief Information Officer for OITS. EXAMPLES OF WORK

Primary for pre-screening calls for the Deputy CIO.

Primary for scheduling calendar

Backup for receiving and routing daily mail.

Backup for reserving conference rooms at the DCF Headquarters.

Backup for answering main OITS executive line.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

One year of secretarial or clerical work experience and a high school diploma or its equivalent; and

Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

EXAMPLES OF KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word and Outlook).

Knowledge of administrative principles and practices;

Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective verbal and written communication;

Knowledge of basic mathematics;

Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures

Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments;

Ability to prepare administrative reports and correspondence;
