Aircraft Maintenance Production Manager

Skywarrior is a flight school with locations in Pensacola and Gulf Shores, AL. We operate about 100 small piston engine aircraft. Company is looking for a take charge person who has either military experience in managing people and equipment or a civilian with similar experience. Candidate does not necessarily have to have aircraft experience but experience in managing the flow of work. Must be able to evaluate mechanics work efforts and have worked planned and tools and parts to complete maintenance in a timely manner. Ideal candidate will have aircraft maintenance experience but not an absolute requirement. Ideal person will have the ability to study and understand FAA maintenance requirements, be able to organize the work effort so that the aircraft have the greatest utilization as possible. Must be able to work with people and schedule the work effort so that aircraft are repaired in a timely manner. Must have good common sense and ability to solve problems which may require some thinking "outside the box". Person must be fit enough to be able to walk the work areas and see that work is being performed and that the mechanics have the materials to complete the work effort in timely manner. Must not take NO as an answer, but find solutions to challenges. Peerson must be well kept and present a professional appearance. Must be able to pass an Airport Security screening, have a good driving record, and no alcohol or drug dependency. Skywarrior is a drug free work place.
