Our Central Florida client is a local government agency that sees technology as transformative for servicing its customers. Senior leadership is fully supportive of building web and mobile applications for the agency. They encourage new ideas, as well as learning the latest web and mobile trends, and implementing them quickly.

This is a hybrid/remote position however, candidates must live in Florida and be within commuting distance of the office in Bartow, Florida. You will be required to work on-site once a month while on contract.

In this position, you will:
  • Develop business applications utilizing primarily .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, JQuery, MVC, and use DevExpress
  • Enhance and modify current applications written in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and DevExpress
  • Review current applications for mobile solutions.
  • Work with internal business customers to understand both new solutions and enhancements to applications.
  • Team with application Business Analyst to review proposed changes.
  • Organize, prioritize, and manage work to meet necessary time requirements and workload, while using good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop system interfaces and data extracts
  • Develop queries utilizing Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Develop stored procedures
  • Develop interfaces with Microsoft products
  • Develop/maintain reports utilizing Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS)

Job Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited four-year college/university with major course work in computer science or information systems and a minimum of two years of working experience in programming in C#, ASP.NET, and MVC. Python, or PHP.
  • Possess programming skills with .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and Visual Studio 2017 and higher
  • DevExpress and/or Telerik knowledge is a plus.
  • Demonstrated analysis and design skills, and experience working through the full software development lifecycle.
  • At least 2 years of working experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server 2012, 2016, or 2019, and also Microsoft Office, MS Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Ability to perform maintenance activities including problem definition, isolation, and resolution
