This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately. Duration: 12+ Months Contract Location: Remote Role: Application Penetration Tester Primary Skills: Penetration Test, Manual Code Review, Checkmarx Secondary Skills: Java, .Net, C# and Scala, Threat Modeling, Application Business Logic, Application Architecture Reviews Role Description: The Application Penetration Tester must have at least 7+ years of experience. Top Skills and Responsibilities: - Manual Code Review - Experience with Checkmarx (tool) - Perform manual code review against a wide variety of applications written in various languages such as Java, .Net, C#, and Scala. HEAVY EMPHASIS is on .NET. - Perform threat modeling, evaluate application business logic, and perform application architecture reviews - Ability to demonstrate application testing experience in real time via demos to both internal and external audiences - Perform SAST and false positive analysis against static code bases - Lead client engagements, provide technical leadership, devise testing scenarios, advise on expected level of effort and guide testing team on engagement processes and outcomes - Engage with technical and non-technical audiences to articulate both testing processes, techniques and results. - Guide technical audiences on remediation options and assist clients in weighing those options - Partner with the Cyber teams to develop new testing techniques, automation for testing and marketing collateral to support the practice and mentor junior and offshore team members on tools and techniques in performing tests. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
