Asphalt Raker / Lute Man

QUALIFICATIONS:

2 Years’ Experience (Required)

Valid Driver’s License (Preferred)

US Work Authorization (Required)

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)

PUNCTUAL- Must Arrive at Work at the Designated Start Time (Required)

Willing to Work Days, Weekends, and Occasional Nights. (Required)

Ability to Lift 50lbs (Required)

Applicant Must be Self Disciplined, have a Desire to Learn and Be Trained, and Work Diligently under Time Constraints.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Lute/ Rake to Straighten Asphalt Joints and for Hand Work Areas where the Paving Machine I Unable to Reach.

Repair Mat Imperfections.

Rectify any Deficiencies on a Project.

Must have Eye for Quality and Ability to Communicate with Laborers when Material is Needed.

Must be Quick Paced to Ensure the Asphalt Mat Doesn’t Cool Prior to Compaction.

Perform Daily Maintenance on Tools and Ensure all Tools are Stored Properly at the End of Each Shift.

Help Manage Customer and Public Expectation. Provide the Highest Level of Customer Service.

Must be Willing to be Flexible with to Perform other Activities within the Company: Asphalt Patching, Grade Work, Sealcoating, and Striping.

JOB DETAILS:

$18 - $25 Per Hour.

Full Time Position.

Yearly Raises and Bonuses are Available.
