DescriptionThis role requires someone to sit in the state of Florida and have a minimum of 5+ years of corporate, commercial and/or industrial property management and operations experience in the state of Florida with a commercial real estate company, landlord entity, or similar. Our growth in the years ahead will continue to be historic.The candidate will be a critical member of the Global Realty team and will support leased or owned fulfillment locations within their assigned region of North America operations with a portfolio size of 90-120 locations. The candidate will be responsible for implementation of Amazon and industry best practices around lease compliance with significant focus on building and maintaining landlord relationships. The candidate will combine real estate industry best practices with excellent problem solving skills to interact with diverse stakeholder groups.Travel required (25% or less) within the assigned region for property inspections, problem solving real estate challenges, and building professional relationships between Amazon and our landlord partners. Travel to our corporate offices in Seattle will be required twice annually for company events and department all-hands meetings. Bachelor's Degree in business, management, real estate, or other related field.

5+ years of corporate, commercial and/or industrial property management and operations experience IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA with a commercial real estate company, landlord entity, or similar.

Ability to review tenant alteration requests and secure landlord consent when required

Experience executing real estate actions outlined within commercial real estate leases to maintain compliance that include, but are not limited to: maintenance and repair obligations, surrender, and restoration

Experience utilizing commercial real estate software platforms such as Tango, Yardi, or MRI or others

Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

7+ years of industrial property management experience with a commercial real estate company or landlord entity

Broad experience with interpretation of industrial leases of varying types

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings related to industrial type buildings

Familiarity and understanding of base building systems

A demonstrated ability to work in a high stress, fast-paced environment that includes management of high volume electronic communication and email

Work independently while maintaining all deadlines and critical date obligations

Proven track record to analyze/interpret complex leases and educate stakeholders of lease compliance responsibilities

Identify new or improve existing business processes

Earned or working towards RPA, CPM, or comparable professional designation

Effective and clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface with individuals at all levels of an organization

Demonstrable experience that reflects building trust among customers, colleagues, and service partners
