Description We are offering an opportunity for an Assistant Controller to join our team in Orlando, Florida. You will be entrusted with overseeing financial operations across three entities and producing financial statements using NetSuite. Additionally, you will spend a significant portion of your time working with the CEO on M& A due diligence and business analytics. Responsibilities: Oversee the financial operations of three entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and adherence to regulatory guidelines Prepare comprehensive financial statements using NetSuite, ensuring they reflect the company's financial status accurately Collaborate with the CEO on M& A due diligence, providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making Conduct business analytics, interpreting complex data and translating it into actionable information to drive business strategies and objectives Utilize advanced accounting software systems to streamline and automate processes, increasing efficiency and accuracy Conduct financial analysis, monitoring financial trends and making recommendations for improvements Maintain and update the organization's financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure all financial operations align with the company's goals and objectives Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.To apply message Kathy Downs on LinkedInRequirements Proven experience as an Assistant Controller or other similar position for a minimum of 5 years or current Manager in public accounting Strong knowledge of Accounting Software Systems and NetSuite Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation and Financial Analysis Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methodologies Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, CPA or CPA in progress Strong ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment Excellent communication and leadership skills Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly in MS Excel Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data Demonstrable ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet hard deadlines.
