- Paint various props (ex. - wood graining, aging, textures) to match existing surfaces.
- Perform layout, sculpting, theming and painting of various props from Artist direction and/or conceptual drawings.
- Perform air brush and conventional spraying, fades and blending.
- Perform cosmetic fiberglass repairs and gel coats utilizing various materials.
- Documentation of paints and procedures used in modifications and repairs.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school degree or GED is required.
- Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two year college or technical school is preferred.
- Required:
- 3-5 years’ experience in theme painting and air brush painting.
- Color matching and blending of new to existing finishes is necessary
- Preferred:
- 5-7 years proven experience in a similar work environment dealing with critical paint issues
- Knowledge of all phases of paint, fiberglass and sculpting are needed to be successful in this job classification
- Free Style painting is a plus.
