We are a brand-new automotive service facility set to begin operation later this year in Marion County FL. We are searching for an experienced technician that is familiar with European vehicle repairs. The candidate must have some prior diagnostic and repair experience, preferably of European vehicles. This is an entry to mid-level tech position. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with an enthusiasm for the automotive industry, who has a passion for the BMW brand and a desire to grow. Qualifications:

A minimum 2 years of verifiable employment as a Service Technician, experience with European makes and models, especially BMW, is highly preferred

Familiarity and experience with diagnostic systems, such as AUTEL and Autologic

Familiarity and experience with engines and the various other mechanical systems of a vehicle, their functions, their common failures and how to repair them, BMW specific preferred

Familiarity and experience with vehicle electrical systems, their functions, their common failures, and how to repair them, BMW specific preferred

Coding and programming experience preferred

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards

Ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical or electrical malfunctions and perform the necessary repairs to correct them

Perform in-depth, multi-point inspections on every vehicle that comes in for service and submit the findings to SA

Generate and submit detailed notes to SA, via shop management system, that include inspection results, recommended repairs, scope of work to be performed, parts required for repairs, and any other relevant information required to obtain work approval from the customer

Perform approved work that is outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy

Promptly notify SA of any unexpected changes that could impact workflow, so that the customer can be informed in a timely manner

Verify and ensure completion of vehicle repairs through quality control checks and final test drive

Keep shop area neat and clean

Display a professional work ethic and manage time appropriately and efficiently

Compensation will be commensurate with the experience, skills, and qualifications that the candidate brings to the position.
