Basic Purpose Seeking DevsecOps Engineer working with cloud platforms and has a passion for automation and developing DevSecOps best practices. This person will drive DevSecOps automation and adoption that align with principles and standards. DevSecOps engineer will collaborate with Product owners, developers, cloud engineers, DevSecOps engineers and operations to plan, design, test and deliver pipelines and infrastructure using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) framework.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and workflows, to include data pipelines• Support the adoption of CICD framework with product teams, perform DevSecOps health assessment, identify gaps and execute recommendations• Build and support highly available data pipelines and related integrations • Build, publish, manage, and enhance internal common libraries, templates, and workflows in support of CICD frameworks• Be the subject matter expert on container orchestration, Kubernetes, Docker • Perform analysis of DevOps practices, identify gaps and impediments for continuous integration and delivery• Engage with information Security and augment the CI/CD framework with DevSecOps and standardized security tools and controls • Develop and apply quality controls and gates to the build, test, and deploy process while establishing Definition of Ready and Definition of Done to ensure quality of delivery • Be a member of Center of Excellence for DevOps practices and develop policies, standards, guidelines, governance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers• Provide guidance, coaching, training on build, test, and release management best practices• Collaborate on and and provide input into the CICD roadmap, identify gaps and dependencies • Work directly with business leadership to understand strategic objectives; propose and develop solutions for program increments • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Engineering, related field or equivalent experience• Experience in creating continuous integration and delivery pipelines leveraging cloud native architectures on Microsoft Azure Cloud• Experience with container orchestration, Kubernetes, Docker, AKS• Experience with building reusable YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps • Knowledge of Databricks, Data Factory, DataLake, Function apps, SQL• Experience with agile delivery, SAFe, and DevOps frameworks • Experience with DevOps Tools for plan, build, test, release and monitor • Experience with PowerShell scripting, Bash, YAML, Json, GIT, Rest API, and Azure Resource Management (ARM) templates• Experience with Git flow branching strategy • Experience with implementing standards and best practices for the CI/CD framework• Knowledge of security scanning/monitoring tools and integration with pipeline• Extensive experience with scripting and debugging on Linux and Windows environments

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Microservices deployment and release management• Microsoft® Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Developer Associate

Navy Federal is now hybrid! Our standard enterprise requirement for a hybrid schedule is to report on-site 4-16 days each month. Salary Range: $98,500 - $168,400 annually

Navy Federal Credit Union assesses market data to establish salary ranges that enable us to remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range, based on your experience, location and market position.
