Bartender

Thursday night and Friday night bartending shifts available at Whistle Stop. These are the two shifts that are immediately available, with an opportunity to earn more shifts, pick up shifts for other bartenders, or pick up shifts at our sister restaurant, if you wish. You take your cash and credit card tips home at the end of every shift.

You must be outgoing, on time, energetic, have experience bartending, great at upselling and remembering people's names, and be reliable. Thursday night you work alone from 6pm-2am (close) and you'll make a minimum of $250, but usually average $300-$350 in tips (before shift pay). Friday nights we have karaoke and you work with one other bartender from 6pm until about 3am. On Fridays you'll make around $250-$300, so the two nights are a minimum of $500 plus your $8.98 an hour you'll get on a bi-weekly paycheck.

There are no barbacks, so you stock your own beer and ice, wash your own glasses, etc. This is year round, steady work, no seasonality at our bar.
