Weatherby is looking for a BI Developer to join our Weatherby Business Intelligence (WBY BI) team. We are looking for a report developer and data enthusiast who not only fits CHG's Putting People First culture but can also support and improve the analytic tools of a world class Business Intelligence team. We are looking for someone with a diverse set of technical skills and even higher technical aspirations. A passion for learning and growth is a must, and there's no better place to do it. Bring your love for problem-solving, technical excellence, and design-we'll provide the canvas. This role will report to Manager II of Business Intelligence team.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible to help implement the Business Intelligence strategy defined by the company
  • Responsible to support and improve processes that impact the reliability and delivery of Business Intelligence products
  • Solve technical problems across a variety of domains with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to reports and dashboards
  • Track and address day-to-day requests and issues related to the platform and its products, researching, and implementing solutions for stakeholders
  • Facilitate and participate in data validation and user acceptance testing
  • Write SQL scripts to power dashboards and conduct analyses based on business requirements
  • Assist in the design, development, and deployment of dashboards and analytics tools primarily using Tableau, SQL, and Excel (including PowerPivot and PowerQuery)
  • Solicit business requirements and translate them into scalable, sustainable, and efficient reports
  • Identify and implement new features to existing reports and dashboards
  • Participate in sprint and release planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
  • Provide support on project activities to ensure successful implementation
  • Partner closely with sales and operations to maintain knowledge of business processes, strategies, information requirements, and key priorities
  • Collaborate across functions and divisions to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the data life cycle

Qualifications:
  • Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills to evaluate business scenarios
  • A passion for learning, innovation, and solving tough problems with a team's support
  • Strong general technical aptitude with a preference for hands-on learning and to self-teach
  • High initiative and a meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a knack for clearly conveying difficult concepts to both technical and non-technical partners
  • Ability to gather and translate end user requirements
  • Very strong customer service orientation
  • An interest in BI best practices/methodologies, relational structures, dimensional data modeling, data warehousing, and reporting techniques
  • An eye for effective and concise visual communication
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced development environment
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects with changing priorities and due dates

Education & Years of Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field
  • 0-2 years' experience performing data analysis or building scalable technical solutions
  • 0-2 years' experience working with Tableau, SQL, and Excel

Preferred Skills:
  • Snowflake experience is preferred but not required
  • Healthcare analytics experience is preferred but not required
