The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining bindery equipment to ensure high-quality finishing of printed materials. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to producing exceptional products that meet our clients' specifications.

Duties

Operate various bindery machines, including cutters, folders, and stitchers.

Perform setup, adjustments, and maintenance on bindery equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Monitor production processes for quality control, ensuring that all finished products meet company standards.

Collaborate with the prepress and graphic design teams to ensure accurate layout and typography in printed materials.

Utilize color management techniques to maintain consistency across print runs.

Assist in the training of new bindery staff on equipment operation and safety protocols.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bindery Operator or in a similar role within the printing industry.

Familiarity with various bindery processes and equipment.

Skills in quality control and attention to detail are essential.

Knowledge of color management, typography, layout design, and graphic design is preferred.

Experience with machining or screen printing is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues across departments.
