Body Piercer/Body Piercer Trainee

Tattoos by Lou, Miami's Original tattoo and body piercing studio is looking for new staff members. We would like to hire a trained body piercer; however, we are willing to train the right person

Responsibilities:

Assist lead piercer during client sessions

Learn and follow all state and local piercing regulations

Prepare and set up piercing tools, jewelry, and workstations

Maintain a sterile and organized environment

Provide friendly, professional, and informative customer service

Help educate clients on proper piercing aftercare

Assist with jewelry inventory, ordering, and merchandising

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Passion for the body piercing and body modification industry

Excellent hygiene, appearance, and professionalism

Strong attention to detail and safety standards

Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team

Comfortable interacting with a diverse clientele

Willing to commit to the full apprenticeship program

Preferred (but not required):

Previous customer service or retail experience

Interest in jewelry, Body piercing, tattooing

Schedule:

Part-time to start (potential to become full-time upon completion of apprenticeship)

Compensation:

Apprenticeship position (unpaid or stipend during training period based on experience)

Commission and hourly wage after becoming a certified piercer
