Description We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team in Venice, Florida. This role involves maintaining financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, and conducting bank reconciliations, among other duties. The Bookkeeper will be expected to assist in managing our company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.Responsibilities: Keep accurate records for all daily transactions Process invoices for vehicle maintenance and non-PO payables Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Perform month-end and year-end financial closing Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process Administer petty cash according to established procedures Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts Complete tax forms, sales tax, and production reports Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted Manage timesheets calculations and send them for processing Assist in processing payroll, new hires, drug screens, and terminations as needed Utilize Excel to organize and track credit card charges and process invoices for expense reports Perform account reconciliations in a timely manner Maintain customer confidentiality and protect financial operations of the company by keeping financial information confidential.This is a permanent position that will pay up to $60,000 depending upon experience. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role Proficient in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations Solid understanding of Bookkeeping principles Proficient in Data Entry Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience with Month End Close procedures Familiarity with Payroll processing Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and organizational skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
