Business Analyst

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Business Analyst for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Tampa, FL . Responsibilities :

• Maintain a priority list based on upcoming deliverables and milestones - Delivery timeline agreements
• Identify project infrastructure external dependencies
• Engage in squad JIRA backlog grooming
• Daily update of JIRA to ensure deliverable tasks are up-to-date
• Escalate ALL potential conflicts to the PO
• Guide stakeholders on processes for infrastructure provisioning
• Ensure necessary request(s) are submitted to track progress
• Engage in squad Scrum ceremonies Daily Standup, Sprint Retrospective, etc.
• Ensure ALL tasks request(s) are submitted for tracking and are on the squad JIRA board
• Provide customer Ad hoc support/escalation

• Highly motivated and a self-starter with an ownership mindset who has:
• Solid presentation, technical and non-technical communication skills, both verbal and written
• Be responsible for Business Aligned Delivery project infrastructure Delivery:
  • Facilitation & coordination
  • Tracking/monitoring - all phases of the Infrastructure delivery lifecycle
• Understand how changes can impact infrastructure delivery and raise concerns and/or propose solutions to mitigate.
• Stay up to date with industry trends relating to infrastructure delivery
• Work in a cross-functional squad to help contribute to enhancing the way we work & deliver
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-faceted environment - where exploration and stretch goals are encouraged

• Power Bi
• Extensive JIRA knowledge
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle management using Agile methodology
• Exceptional prioritization, process, and project management skills
