Job Purpose: Florida Department of Education (department) is seeking to select the most qualified vendor on the IT Staff Augmentation Services Contract # 80101507-21-STC-ITSA to provide Business Analyst services to assist the Department and Technology staff in meeting those goals.The Department is committed to providing high quality education services to all Florida students, and requires IT Staff Augmentation services to assist the department and Technology staff in meeting that goal.Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.Experience• Experience scheduling technical integrations involving multiple resource teams. • Experience organizing and facilitating training and/or technical presentations.• Experience facilitating business and technical analysis, design, and planning meetings.• 5+ Experience producing technical documentation related to requirements, specifications, design, process and data flow, testing, and training.• 5+ Years of experience with data consolidation, editing, and normalizing rules. • Understanding of State of Florida rules and regulations.• Proficiency with Microsoft Word. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. • Proficiency with Microsoft Project.• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint. • Technical knowledge of web, network infrastructure, network communication, and security preferred. Primary Job Duties/ TasksThe submitted candidate must be able to perform the following duties and/or tasks:• Assists in developing specifications as well as, overall planning and management of projects.• Meets with leadership to provide status reports on a weekly basis and provides monthly written reports which will include accomplishments, areas of concern, and recommended solutions.• Communicate project progress and information to team, sponsor, stakeholders, and legislative body as appropriate.• Ensures technical direction and standards are being followed.• Develops project plans and measures actual progress against the plans.• Assures that project documentation includes the project plans, budgets, risk plans, communication plans, change control logs, and reports.• Demonstrates an understanding of tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and implementation of business solutions.• Manages project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques.• Manages change control within the projects.• Obtains sponsor approval for changes to scope, budget, and schedule that effect the critical path.• Written documentation showing testing and verification of modifications to ensure that objectives are met.Note: The staff augmentation consultants are required to be off the week of Christmas and New Year unless services are required with prior leadership approval.
