Job Description: Business Analyst - SAP Concur
SMCI is currently hiring an SAP Concur Functional Specialist. This is a 100% remote opportunity. The business is in Tampa Bay Florida and several locations globally. This position will support the SMCI team working with a large shift to a client partners Concur platform as a supportive partner to client partners and executives.

This position may be assigned to a client that requires all individuals on-site to have the COVID-19 vaccination. The individual must be fully vaccinated before starting work at such a client site.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a strong SAP Functional Specialist experienced in Concur Travel & Expense implementation and support, also skilled in Concur integrations
  • Act as a key member of the implementation team during the end-to-end implementation of the SAP Concur Travel & Expense tool including facilitating and documenting business requirements, managing and configuring the Application, writing and executing extensive testing, and providing product support
  • Configure and administer Concur expense system including but not limited to user administration, imports/exports, policies, expense groups, forms, workflows, audit rules and integration with SAP and ADP.
  • Effective management of projects through key stakeholder meetings, planning, and status reporting in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with Affiliates, IT, Service providers and other stakeholders to implement and deploy SAP Concur Travel & Expense in new acquisitions and manage change management
  • Communicate effectively across a wide degree of corporate and business functions at all levels with ease.
  • Identifying process enhancement and improvement opportunities
  • Facilitate manual and automated data imports and exports
  • Monitor the automated import and export processes, coordinate with respective technical teams in solving integration issues, resolve all errors
  • Manage and maintain configurations; adding, editing or removing configurable options as requested
  • Respond to internal business user requests for assistance with issues related to application functions and work closely with Accounts Payable to resolve issues.
  • Communication skills and an interest in the delivery of solutions to meet business requirements related to Travel and Expense
  • Understand business requirements in order to best configure the system and exceed client expectations
  • Communicate with the department discussing: goals, priorities, product roadmap and monthly releases
  • Assist in identifying usage gaps to increase adoption
  • Perform configuration changes as requested by the customer
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner with oversight and coordination with business user team members. Work with vendor technical consultants for configuration of applications and issue resolution as needed.
  • Develop and maintain functional and technical product knowledge
  • Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies
  • Create system reports as requested by the businesses
  • Safeguard the security, integrity, and confidentially of internal systems and data
  • Cross train with other Travel Services Department Administrators to understand the full functionality of the Department
  • Manages the daily end to end travel and expense process within the travel management company (TMC) and Concur systems and aligning all supporting functions as needed
  • Functions as Concur and TMC system subject-matter experts (SME) and lead for assigned Accountable for user adoption of the Travel & Expense system
  • Tracks and coordinate project plans including goals, strategy, resource scheduling, and
  • Performs training and technology enablement in order to make all users (internal and external) are proficient in the Travel & Expense processes
  • Utilizes data from the system to provide benchmarks, financial analysis, and spend analysis for travel and expense for planning and decision-making.
  • Maintains the ability to confidently and effectively contribute and challenge all levels of the organization with respect and professionalism
  • Provides guidance on Travel and Expense processes to all levels of personnel and facilitates completion

    Requirements:
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field
  • 4 or more years working with the SAP Concur system (administration, design/configuration, and support) required
  • Ability to plan, execute, and deliver on projects in a timely manner; plus the ability to multi-task on varying projects and initiatives
  • Very high attention to detail; organized and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a team environment and utilize a collaboration approach to problem solving
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills that facilitate research leading to rapid solutions of problems
  • Tableau reporting skills a preferred
  • Ability to analyze complex processes and identify potential improvement opportunities
  • Strong customer service and client relationship building skills
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are a must
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and demonstrates a "can-do" positive attitude
  • Demonstrates strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
